KANO STATE GOVERNMENT HAS REAFFIRMED IT'S COMMITMENT TO PROVIDE AFFORDABLE HOUSES TO THE PEOPLE IN THE STATE - SEE PHOTOS

 The State Commissioner for Housing and Transport, Honorable Mahmud Muhammad Santsi made the assertion during an inspection and familiarization visit to Khalifa Isyaka Rabi'u and Sheikh Nasiru Kabara housing estates.

Honorable Mahmud Santsi disclosed that the visit was to inspect and familiarize with agencies, departments and assets belonging to the ministry.

He stressed that all identified problems associated with the cities which includes portable water, electricity and erosion will be addressed to ensure the cities are developed and habitable, calling on KAROTA and other security agencies to caution and stop sand vendors from operating especially at Khalifa Isyaka Rabi'u estate.

The Commissioner reiterated the state government efforts in providing effective policies towards housing schemes, promising the ministry's efforts in cooperating with Housing Corporation and other stakeholders in acquiring more lands for building more affordable houses for the populace.
